I am curious who all is either going to chase/spot for the first time this year and I am curious who the returning chasers and spotters are?

I plan being out there on the field, I'll end up taking my vacation Apr 28th thru May 6th. And probably intermitten days off here and there in May and early June. Let the chasing begin! Very Happy

If something good happens before April, I'll be on it like a monkey on a cupcake! Anything after that...well, I'll be on my way to Oregon. But in the likelihood I end up running into a great storm on the plains of Nebraska or Wyoming, I'll chase it or at least record it! Cool

I am very much looking forward to the upcoming Spring and chase season! Also anyone who would like to be a part of our storm spotter network and pass along storm reports and even stream live video let me know and we will talk.

I know some of you have your own spotter vehicles and equipment so if you are one of those hard core storm chasers/spotters let me know!

Amen to that! This winter has been fun, but severe weather is the best thing weather can offer us as long as tornadoes don't harm anyone.

My son, Corey and I will be storm spotting again this year. However, things have been extremely quiet so far. Hopefully May will pick up for storm season otherwise this year may go down in history and the least active spring ever!!

Look no further than Friday evening into Friday night if your a local storm chaser. I actually go West and chase out in Kansas and Oklahoma, so if you do what I do look no further than Thursday evening! Finally the upper wind pattern is becoming unsettled again, doesn't look to calm down for a while as yet another series of severe weather events may unfold April 30th thru May 2nd, just in time for my CHASEATION!!!!

Definitely looking forward to tomorrow evening/night. Unfortunately my car has yet to be modified into "Storm Chase Mode", but it will still do a good job, I'm confident about it!
