Possible cold weather Empty Possible cold weather

Someone told me that the Farmer's Almanac is forecasting freezing temps around April 16-17. Has anyone seen anything long-term to indicate this may happen? I've planted a few things in my garden and don't want to lose them. Thanks.

NixaDorothy, according to the Climate Prediction Center's 8-14 Day Temperature outlook, we are supposed to be above normal.

Hopefully this puts your mind at ease. I think we have seen the last of the cold weather until perhaps say November.

I don't see any cold weather in the offing on the models over the next 7-10 days. Looks like very springlike weather will hang with us through that time.
