It now appears that some here in the Ozarks may see more accumulating snow. This is not expected to be a significant storm - just minor accumulations of anywhere from a trace to perhaps 3 inches where the heavier snow bands develop. However it may be just enough to cause some slick spots on area roadways.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for parts of the Ozarks.

Here is the latest Advisory information from the National Weather Service in Springfield:

Greene County and several others under a winter weather advisory now. 1 inch expected. If people would slow down and be careful there wouldn't be so many accidents in a VERY MINOR winter event.

The snow continues to fall here! What a surprise to wake up this morning and see quite a world of white. Good thing we have the day off of school anyway!
