Do Tsunami's affect US weather?
I have been watching the news coverage regarding the Chilean earthquake and the Tsunami that is affecting the entire Pacific Ocean. Since the weather systems that affect the 48 come from the Pacific, and ocean temperature, etc affect those systems, does events like Tsunami's affect US weather?

Thats a good question... because a tsunami would bring the cooler waters from below up top, reversing the affect of El Nino. Not sure...? Which by the way would result in La Nina.
