Re: Monday/Tuesday Feb. 8/9
Started snowing here again at around 3:15 this morning or so. Snowing at a pretty even pace. Pavement starting to turn white in spots.

down here in kimberling city/branson west area we prolly got a little over an inch so far. It's really cool though how it has covered the trees. Everything has snow on it... except the roads. Even the little twigs on the tree branches have snow on them. It's really cool! We'll see if more snow comes

looks like my prediction of 3 inches or less from 3 days ago will be right on target!!!!

I have been focusing on this storm I will turn my attention to upcoming storms but after a quick glance at the long range charts I don't see anything major coming down the pipe.

Watching the national radar loops from few hours along with other info. I feel, and this is just an opinion by what I am seeing, that anything over 4 " inches in this area is out of the question. Seems most of the moisture is way south of here.

Looks like Springfield is going to get nothing. So far just a couple light fluries. Seems like these forecasts go from a foot of heavy snow to to 6 inches to 3 inches. Looking at the radar it looks like this thing is about to pull out. I thought this was supposed to last into tomorrow morning.

The air temp is hovering around 31 degrees but the ground temps are higher. Where I am here in Nixa the snow isn't even accumulating on the grass and very little on bushes and trees. This pretty much kisses any meaningful snow totals goodbye. But that is the nature of the beast.

Springfield area will get no snow at all!!! Imagine that!!! Even if the snow stuck I wouldn't see much more then a inch from today. It was so light! Hailey was right all along by really downplaying this storm. I don't see any measurable snow in the next 15 days, but it will be cold off and on.

Hailey did outforecast everyone in this thread. Props to her. Hopefully her prediction of no more winter storms will come true. Still some light snow here now that it is getting dark.

We were in the bullseye 3 days before the storm. Thats not a good place to be because generally the storm will either shift north or south and leave whoever was in the bullseye out of the storm

Good point. There was several inches last night and today to the north and south. Right in the middle is nothing.
